Poor Deb’s had to work today, whilst me & NIgel were off back to Earls colne. We flew with Carolyn the cash, as she had run out of hours flying time & needed to do a check flight with NIgel in G-BZHF - she’s ok (for a woman) - i’m nly joking, bu i might be in trouble with Deb’s & Carolyn now Carolyn loves them Cessna’s & keep telling me that…i couldn’t tell her that i prefer low wings, flying a YAK & that haha!! i sound like Nigel now I have to think of a new name for Carolyn now, as she is teacher now & doesn’t work for Earls Colne - must get my thinking cap on…Wonder if she’ll be my new mum, necause she got lot’s of tickets (she may give me detention though) i can’t believe this year is almost over, it’s been so great

Christmas is finished & it’s back to Earls colne, which we can’t stay away from. I even got a few more flights for my logbook…i went up in G-OJRM with James O’Neil - he’s the nice Scotts bloke who Deb’s & Andria like…Andria defo likes him as he fixed her christmas lights the other week. We went to do some practise landings at Elmsett…hey James i can help you land, as i’ve landed here loads of times Next me, Nigel & Deb’s flew in G-BZET so that Deb’s can practise her circuits, which she is getting the hang of - shame i’m not here for when she does her actual test. Deb’s has had a tough year with the weather & cancelled lessons, even in Earls colne the weather’s been poor…next year will be better Deb’s i pormise

Noisy day today, as Mattie & Ben were home with their dad after CHristams day - & the lucky boys had lot’s of toys to play with. They got mainly things for their games consoles like the PS3 etc. some of the games on the PS3 were really real, it scared me Debs had put chocolates on the tree, but i found it difficult to find them, i guess Mattie beat me to it. Deb’s was still hoping for her YAK flight but JB was still in maintenance getting its permit liscence…I hope i get to fly in JB, mind you my new family could be the Featherbys which means i can go YAk flying i’d still see Nigel & Deb’s & would spend alot of time at Norwich airport

Merry Christmas everyone, & after all that hype it was quite a relaxing day :), i needed it after this flying year aswell. Father Christmas visiting my stocking last night & left my a sock full of stuff, sweets, chocolate & even some beary special gifts (haha) We had really lovely day, chilling out watching tv & the best bit was that Nigle cooked Deb’s was slightly angry though because it wasn’t a white christmas, oh well - she’ll learn. She was happier when she found out Mattie had bought her the last book she needs to take her PPL liscense. I guess she had better get a move in taking her exams then - but i dont think i can help, it’s too complicated…I think i’ll stick to display flying, but i wonder where i’ll be next year - i hope it’s at a flying family

WoooHooo!!! Christmas eve & we went to earls colne…Nigle hired G-BYSG & we went to do some circuits with Deb’s - again she was good - & it was a good day to fly…i even looked for father christmas but i couldn’t see him When Deb’s wasn’t flying, she was eating the chocolates on the front desk It was quite busy as people were trying to squeeze in 1 last flight before christmas. Then it was time to go back & get ready for father christmas!!! i hung up my stocking & left out a glass of coke & a mince pie for father christmas & went to bed early…but i couldn’t sleep, i was to busy thinking about riding in santa’s sleigh. I wonder what i will get for christmas, i bet mattie & ben aren’t asleep yet either.

Nother non-flying day…but it was a very christmasy day as there is only 2 dyas to go!!! We went carol singing tonight - & what a voice i have - i know all the words & can join in with everything Poor Deb’s, she won’t get her white christmas this year, even though she really wants one. There’s a few christmas traditions i like - sausage rolls & mince pies…”yum yum” i seem to have had a fare share already before christmas,…to me it seems as if christmas is all about food - turkey, christmas pud, sweets & chocolate & that’s without the alcohol…
Our tree at home looks real good & Deb’s even got some new baubles & lights on it - one bauble is a mustang one & is no surprise to see it at the top of the tree

A flying free day - how strange!! Deb’s had to get her hair cut today & she went mad, she had loads cut off. Glad i didn’t go - i could have ended up with a skin-head like Nigel Debs was fed-up as town was crowded with all the last minute christmas shoppers!!! Nigel had to update my website & it was great it’s amazing how much i get done in a year. I kept wondering who my family would be next year & what i would be doing. I hope they’re a flying family so that i can go flying i hope a member of the flying club wins me, either at an airport or Earls colne, because then i’ll defiently stay in colse contact with planes I know Emily wants to win me, so then i’ll be Norfolk bear (i’d rather be a suffolk bear though)

Yipee…more flying today & it was my flight with Bradley in 2007. He finishes today & isn’t back till 2nd January, so we flew in G-BZET to Andrewsfield…hmm oor viz for that trip, we came back in “RL”…even poorer viz. Oooh i had to close my eyes as i like flying in clear weather seeing where i am going. Later on BRadley, Nigel & i got a taxi to Andrewsfield to bring back both Robins - looks like a bit of formation flying Bradley & i were the lead aircraft as, Nigel formating behind us…ooooh how close can u get!!! As it was the last day we gave BRadley his present - it was an instrument flying kit & had lots of joke items in it…he loved it!! Chelsea was in with Victoria today…she is a big help & she loves me (well who wouldn’t). What a lovely girl - she said she wanted to win me & keep me forever

Christmas is drawing ever coser & ben n mattie have broken up from school…shame Nigel & Deb’s have another few days of work!! My calenders have been selling slowly at Earls colne…i can’t see why they havn’t been flying off the shelves as they all feature me - perhaps it’s one of the ohters that has fightened people off. Doesn’t look like Debs will be YAK flying on christmas day, as JB is still waiting for the push to be finished in maintenance. Oh well we’ll just have to keep our fingers & (paws) crossed for it to be ready for one last flight for me!! At least i have the photo’s & videos to keep my memoried alive Deb’s has been talking to me about ideas for her book - they sound good - so it looks like she’ll be kept busy after all Debs & Nigel just never seem able to sit still, they always have to do something

Back to flying…Bradley & i went to Andrewfield with Yvonne with “RL” as it was due maintenance. Nigel came in formation with us in “CW” & Yvonne was so surprised at how close he got “hee hee” We all then came back in “CW” with Bradley at the controls!! & what a great landing he made - typical!!! He was surprised at how heavy the Robin was on landing - after a cup of tea Nigel & i flew “CW” to Elmsett & i couldn’t face the A12 on the way…i’ve become such an expert at navigating…maybe i sholud give lee & yvonne lessons Nigel did a greater landing at Elmsett just to prove he can do it - oooh he’s so competitive!!! Well if they wanted to watch an exert do it - they should have watched me do it, as (in the words of Ben) ” i is da bear!”
