The Censored Poem- By Dale and Andrea

Oooh never knew Dale and Andrea had such talent…they’ve written a poem about me and my latest visit to Norwich - it’s brill and they’ve sent it to Nigel and Debs!

Well, here it is:

Here I sit, it’s no fun
Weather c***, there’s no sun
All the planes are in the hanger
Last time I flew Nigel’s landing was a slammer!!

Wish that I wasn’t here
I’ve found out that Timmy’s queer!
So here I am, there’s no sun
And Timmy boy ***censured out***
I’m not having much fun
Nigel - mate - where’s my mum?!

Hehehe- a typical Dale set of words so I’ve had to censor them!! I never knew that there was so much poetic people at Happy Landings…looks like being a father has brought out the artistic streak!! Any way today was better and we actually flew on a navesc to Southend and then some hairy cross wind landings at Norwich in G-BUCA :-)

Helis are ruling the sky today!

Looks like the weather in Norwich is no better than it is at Earls Colne…and I thought I’d get some flying in :-( Al least being at an International airport instead of a smaller flying club you do get to see something fly…and that something turns out to be the flybe’s, Eastons and Various helis that are based there including the Police and Air Ambulance! Decided to impress Dale with my pilot skills and went and checked out G-BUCA for him…hmm he wasn’t very impressed - he said with my hows I should be able to do it without a check list! G-YAKO (Dales Yak) was in the hanger so as ‘JB’ is in maintenance I went and sat in it. Ooh I do love Yaks - I hope JB is ready to fly soon because I really want another ride :-) G-YAKO is fun to fly because you have to wear parachutes (bucket seats) but only trouble is when I’ve been flying in it i didn’t have a parachute…I hope they’re not trying to tell me something…hey Uncle Dale - can I have a word?? :-)

Pink Plane prices rocket!!

Well I didn’t know what the fuss is all about - Scarlett is a gorgous little girl who slept through the night because I got a great nights sleep :-) oops - Andrea has a different tale to tell…seems like I slept right through the night (snoring like a baby) while Andrea was up with Scarlett - twice and Dale was some where in between!! Well she didn’t disturb me so I still think she’s great. Elliott and Emily are looking forward to Christmas and we’ve been picking our presents we’d like from the Argos book…not too sure that Dale and Andrea are happy with the long lists!! :-) Andrea has found the perfect present for Scarlett…a pink aeroplane that you can sit in…Dales not impressed with the price - I can feel a ‘look’ coming on!! Andrea and I really like the plane and Scarlett would look brilliant in it when she’s older - but I didn’t think it matters how much we like it because it’s still too expensive!! :-)

Uncle Dale has gone all nice on me

Flying day today - hopefully because it is rather windy! Debs is hoping to do some circuit practice at Norwich before having a spot of lunch at ‘Happy Landings’. Unfortunantly it was too windy for Debs to land but take-off was hers and so was the flying and some radio so she still got some practice in…think she needs it!! It was good to see Uncle Dale and Andrea again along with Emily, Elliott and Scarlett (my she’s grown - she must love her food like her dad). Scarlett has softened Dale now now he’s a dad - he’s a much nicer person :-) Well it was nice visiting everyone again that’s just what I did - told you Uncle Dale was nice now!! We watched Nigel and Debs go and then I helped Andrea sell some raffle tickets…oooh my home might be in Norfolk!! Then it was time to go home with Dale and Andrea and my first night time experience of a tiny baby!!

Food Hygiene and Planes??

Poor Debs - no day of rest for her today after the business of yesterday…she’s got to run a food hygiene training course today!! I thought I’d listen in for a laugh…oooh she does go on - she talked all day!! But I’ve learnt alot about hygienic food handling practices and problems with bacteria in our food…it’s just a shame that I never cook…I have people to do it for me!! :-) Well I’ve recovered from my fame of last night…and my bruises are ok. Yes - after Shaun interviewed me on TV he sat me back on the ledge where the crowds of people were…and I got pushed off :-( How embarassing to fall in front of thousands of TV viewers - good job you couldn’t see my red face! Luckily I have so much lovely fur that it didn’t do too much damage to me - just my pride!! And I know I was seen falling and Debs has had texts from Victoria and Andrea about it - ooh no that means Uncle Dale saw it - I hope Bradley didn’t :-)

PARTY!!!!

Wowee…the big night is here…Pudsey’s party at Tatteshalls at Newmarket for ‘Children in Need’…we’re gonna be on TV!! :-) Ben and Mattie were both excited to be going along too. It was great we met Stuart White and the weather girl from BBC Look East News and then to close the party I met frantic Dethon :-) There was even someone dressed up to look like me…except he couldn’t find a head band like mine and had to make do with a multi-coloured spot one!! Well it’s been great all day as clips from our DVD have been shown after all the news programmes as a trailer for tonights party :-) Wow - I really am famous!! I got to ride on the racing horse simulator…oooh that’s difficult!! Ben got his moment of fame when he held up the cheque and had a short interview with Stuart :-)

Bad Back time

Perfect flying day today - clear blue sky - excellent visability and little wind…so good in fact that Debs took the spare slot at 15:00 in case the weather was bad tomorrow :-) It was mostly G-BYSG (Robin) today, so I had my special seat in the back observing the proceedings! First flight was with Justin Collins working on EX 6 ||…but poor Bradley has a bad back - aahh! So we had to take it easy for the rest of the day. Next two lessons were fine and then it was time for Debs and her circuits (oh no - poor back time!!). Debs was ok but she had trouble keeping on the centre line of the runway and also wouldn’t pull back hard enough on the flat so we landed flat…great treatment for the back!! She also needs to work on the throttle and now much power is needed…don’t worry Brad I’ll sort her out!! My final lesson of the day was a night check out in G-BENK with Robin Rudderham - an instructor…proper seat time again!!

Circuit King

Weather is getting better at the moment - perfect for flying…yipee - lets get flying Top Gun Brad :-) Three flights today - two in the Robin ‘G-BYSG’ and one in then Cessna ‘G-BZHF’. First one was stalls with Graham Green and I really enjoyed them…closest thing to aeros that I’ve done for a while - especially with the Yak in maintenance :-) Next flight was a check ride with Keith Peacock…well Bradley could have let me done it - after all I’ve got loads of hours in these Robins now :-) So all I could do was check Bradley out and make sure he didn’t do anything wrong!! Final flight of the day (just before night) was circuits with Colin Chapman…six in total…nearly made me sick!! Im turning into the circuit king - I know every inch of both the 24 circuit and the 06 circuit - I know all my turn points and the heights, headings and distances that I should be…I even know where Mr Brown’s house is so that we can avoid it and not cause any trouble…what a good little bear I am :-)

‘Stick with me…and you’ll go far’

Oh yipee wow I now have another special Pudsey bear treat planned…Steve from Norwich ATC knows a mate at Conningsby where the Typhoons are based…so my dream longing where flying with BBMF is about to come true - Im going flying on the new Eurofighter - whoopee!! Im such a lucky bear :-) 29 Squadron (who fly the Typhoons) have been in touch and said I’ll be able to go on 03/24/07 (early Christmas present for me then :-)) and to say “ta” to Top Gun we’ve decided to take him with us…because he’ll love it! While Im flying in the Typhoon they can all go in the simulator…know what I’d rather go in!! Bradley is so excited - bet he’s glad he done the ‘brief it video’ now…see Top Gun - stick with me and you’ll go far - because I mix with the great and good in the aviation world - oh and also Nigel and Dale and Big Nose etc!! Only joking guys - you know I think you’re the best :-)

High or Low??

Yipee - weather good enough for flying today so I went with Bradley and Yvonne on a navex in ‘RL’ and hurray…we didn’t get lost - even though I was prepared should Yvonne need my expert help!! Then Yvonne was sent off without Bradley and had an hows local nav (again not getting lost) - and once again GPS Pudsey was ready to help a damsel in distress…oh ok - help Yvonne if she needs it :-) I cant make up my mind if I prefer Cessnas (high wings) or low winged Robins…oh hang on the Yak’s a low wing aircraft, as is the Spit and the Mustang…hmm - mind made up - low wings!! Yak’s in for it’s annual maintenance and Im really missing it…hope it’s back before the end of my flying year - really need to go for I last flight - Bradley’s still owed a flight for the ‘Brief- it’ video so maybe i’ll get my last flight with Bradley at the helm!! Know he’s itching to have a go in the front and try some aeros…wonder if Nigel and I can make him sick with a loncecah?? :-)
