Firework flight!

Well we had a flight with a difference today … it was night flying (yes I know I’ve done that before!) to go and watch the Christchurch PArk fireworks and to try to get a video. Wowee - it was brilliant, you get such a good view of the fireworks form the air and it’s surprising how low they actually are when you’re flying After the display we pushed up through the cloud to 6,500 feet and came out on top in the moonlight - wow - what an experience… I can see why they call it a bombers moon. When we got back home we had a good look at Debs video - it’s good and Nigel set it to music to use at the Boys Brigade service tomorrow - and because he liked it so much he’s put it up on YouTube along with my “Pudsey Video”… My fame just keeps on growing and growing! I just can’t get used to how different it is flying at night - everything just gets so much closer - it’s weird… you also need good eyes… hmmm That’s me out then!
