Whoopee - good weather and lots of flying today… it was a chance to get back in the Robins and also Cessnas with my Top Gun mate… and boy did he try to live up to the Top Gun image today!! You should see my logbook entries… First flight was circuits with Brian Cotam - coming along nicely; next was a Robin flight - Mach 0.3; shot down two birds and a rabbit (simulated). Then pulled 1.2G with Yvonne and no kills today! Following that we were more subdued wih exercise 4 and 5 with Justin Collins and then position aircraft with Peter Thomas with no kills Mach 10!! See - Bradley wishes he’d flown it!! Nigel flew in later for us all to go to Norwich - Debs was going to have a go at night flying but chickened out We got to meet Scarlett Lucy this evening… aaah she’s lovely and even smaller than me!! We attended the Anglia Flight awards niht as well and there was also a surprise for me… Nigel had put together a video of my exploits and we had a premiere at Happy Landings!!
