Oooh October now… first of the month… Rabbits Rabbits Rabbits!! I’ve only got three months left with Debs and Nigel before I’m off to my new home… so that means I’ve had 9 months of fun with them… I don’t believe it - it’s gone so fast But what a lot I’ve managed to pack in and how my hours have been building I’ve had a look through both my log book and my photo albums - I’ve been to various places round the world thanks to RyanAir and EasyJet on their flight decks… not many people get to do that now I’ve been on lessons with Dale at Anglia Flight and several solo’s (Timmy’s first to Conington springs instantly to mind!!) Then I’ve also been with Bradley, Roger, Robin and Eric at Earls Colne… Le Touquet has been a favourite this year with both Bradley and Nigel. Then finally the display circuit… I’ve flown on the maiden flight on the BBMF Lancaster after her paint job - The Phantom of the Ruhr. And spent a week with BBMF and flew on the Spitfire and also the Hurricane… And they lost my boot!!
