Rougham Airshow - flights galore!

Yippeee! Another Rougham day - lets hope the weather holds - we had ferry flights into Rougham as Mattie was coming too. Mattie and I went in first, then I went back to collect Debs for us all to come in
We met up with BUCA in the air and done a formation fly-by (with smoke - less than Guinot!) and break. Nigel and I displayed later on - but ooh it was a flat display as the cloud base was so low
The weather then kept varying all day - low cloud - good viz - drizzly rain - almost sun (but at least we didn’t suffer like Maurice Hammond - 2 inches of rain in one hour
) Unfortunately the weather kept some aircraft away but lots did display and I hitched a ride with some… first was Rob Metcalf in a WWI fighter - German! - complete with dummy gunner (no - not me!!)… why are the CAA always German pilots??? Next I went in a Mustang again (ooh Debs was green!) - big Beautiful Doll with Rob Davies - we had to cut the display short and land - and then go again - hurray two Mustang flights
Finally I went in a P40 Kittyhawk with Peter Teichman - wow what a day -thanks guys!!
