With Dougal to Fenland

Dougal and I are old flying buddies now - we go on lots of trips together We went to Fenland today - hey Dougal I’ve been here before and I know where to go! Oooh it was a bumpy ride - rather windy, but it’s ok coz I kept us steady It amazes me when we fly around the fens coz everything is just so flat and there seem to be less trees than in Suffolk or Norfolk Dougal and I had a nice cup of tea in the clubhouse and chatted to fellow aviators. I wanted to go and have a go in the playground but Dougal wouldn’t let me - we didn’t have enough time! We then headed for home hoping that the weather had improved… but it was still bumpy! ATC told us to report “field in sight!” - “Wilco” said Dougal - hey I’ve got it… so I reported field in sight while Dougal was still looking… I’m getting good at this flying lark!! Back on the ground at Norwich I had the chance to build my muscles again - putting planes back in the hanger!!
