Polly meets Pudsey!

Went to Earls Colne today, but didn’t get any flights :-(. Mind you they were very busy coz Polly Vacher was flying in this evening. She’s the orange lady (well I mean she wears an orange flying suit :-)) in the orange plane that flew solo around the world. She does a lot of work for flying disabled children & is currently flying around all of the airfields in the UK. I was glad that she was coming in … Carolyn has been & bought some chocolate biscuits – yum yum … better go & grab a white one before Debs does!! Debs & Nigel went & arranged an air-to-air photo shoot with Polly as she departed Earls Colne … I was excited coz I like formation … until they told me it was too dangerous for me coz they’d forgotten my special harness & the canopy was to be open :-(. So I relegated to watching from the ground with Carolyn & Bill. I did get to fly home in the yak though … yippee 1^st flight today … but problems when we landed … the yak had no air … oooh nooo – quick ‘Ole Dave Fixit’ you’ve got to fix it before the Open Day …
