Ooh Andrea is on cloud nine today - one of her photos of the BBMF Lancaster “Phantom of the Ruhr” has been used by Pilot Magazine and made into a poster - and it’s great Debs has put it up in the kitchen and it’s looking good I’m glad to have it on display coz then I can tell everyone who sees it that I have flown in it and they haven’t!! I’m getting withdrawal symptoms having not flown for days… think I’ll have to go and have a go on flight sim… see if I can land that Extra 300 at Norwich (coz Nigel can’t!!). Had to help Nigel complete his Display Authorisation paperwork today coz he and Dale have got to have them renewed at Norwich tomorrow. I think they’re doing it in Cessnas… oooh Nigel - can you handle the power!?? Nigel tells me (with one of Dales looks!) that it’s so he can get another “Group” added to his DA. Hmmmm - wonder if he’d like a passenger? I can get a lift to Norwich in the Yak and then maybe I’ll hitch a lift in the Cessna… now where’s my gear??
