Barrel Rolling St Clair in an Arrow

We went to Shipdham today coz Nigel was doing some cost-share flights and also some display practices… oooh my head is still spinning - those abracadabras are something else - cartwheels in the sky!! Shipdham is a gliding club - the 8-ball Soaring Club so it was fun to watch those twisting and soaring in the thermals. While we were busy having fun we had a nice surprise… St Clair was there with ‘AZ’ and he was taking some friends from Burlington Church flying (they were camping at Letton Hall). Nigel wanted to do some formation with AZ so I decided to jump into AZ… ooh it was fun - you should have seen the faces of Simon and Ceri when Nigel came in closer… and closer… and closer!! So we had a great day with the best being a great pic being taken by Richard Earl of Nigel barrel rolling around AZ!! Hoping to get a copy for the album… Finished off the day by gate-crashing the camp for dinner… mmm yum yum!
