Formation Practice…

Bank Holiday Monday … Wedding display flying planned … & it was raining – great!! :-( We waited around all day for the weather to break & it wasn’t until about 5pm that we got airborne in G-YAKO for Nigel to check out Dave Puleston for the wedding display. Hee hee my 1st trip in YAKO & it’s without Dale (& it’s his plane!!) :-) It was a good trip with Dave practising his part for the display – rolls, loops, ½ Cubans – you know just the norm!! :-) Afterwards we had a 4 ship formation to do for the wedding … & 3 cameras as well to record the event! Nigel & Dave done some Yak formation 1st – that was fun. Then Uncle Dale joined in … ooh it started to get scary then … & then another Cessna with Yorricks flying (yikes!) flew above to take some pictures – oooh it was getting hairy & I just had to close my eyes!! After all the excitement we broke formation & we headed off to Elmsett – it was lovely to get back there after nearly a month … & then we rounded off a great day with a Chinese … ahhh home sweet home :-)
