Leading the BBMF Formation is…

Relaxing day at Duxford today after my busy flying week! The BBMF guys are preparing for their busy weekend – they are displaying at Duxford for the BBMF show. This year is the 50th Anniversary of the formation of the Battle of Britain Memorial Flight. The Hurricane that I’ve flown in (ooh how I love to say that :-) ) is the founder member of the BBMF in 1957 at Biggin Hill. So because of that fact it has been given the honour of leading the displays this year. On Sunday they are displaying at Rougham at the model aircraft display & then also at Bury St Edmunds for America 400 event. Well I wonder what I’ll be doing this weekend? It’s back to Nigel & Debs on Saturday … I suppose I have missed them really & I have got lots of news to tell them … ooh then we’ve got the hard job of updating the diary for the website … well I mean Nigel has … I’ll just do the supervising of it – after all I am a rather special bear who has flown on the BBMF Lancaster, Hurricane & Spitfire!! :-)
