Wow - what a brill day with loads of firsts for little ol’ me! It was “Happy Easter” greetings and exchanging of eggs… Oi! Where’s mine then?? We flew to Norwich in the Yak for lunch and yes, Debs flew again and done the radio… well I guess it’s practise time coz Dale will make her do it next lesson!! After a lovely lunch (thanks Andrea!) it was off to Shipdham to meet Phil Collin and the Eight-ball gliding club… Well it was great to meet Phil at last - especially after all that Nigel had said about him! This place was great - I got to fly in a motor glider - wow that was different… especially when we bounced on landing and had to go around (and yes I shut my eyes!). I then got to fly in the tug plane towing a glider - that was amazing… but I would have liked to have released the rope - hee hee!! We finally visited Seething and Nigel and I got to fly in a helicopter - a James Bond one… fantastic - thanks Ian Davies!!
Before going home we went to “buzz” the church where Dale and Andrea were having their banns read!!
I love flying!!
