Forced Rabbit Landings

Rabbits, Rabbits, Rabbits - 1st day of the month! Happy Saint Davids Day everyone. Bright sunny, windy day again… so I had to go to Earls Colne once more! My mate Bradley took me flying with him again… but I’m not sure he likes it as he kept cutting the engine, then tells the student to pick a field to land in (a field??) and then changes his mind and puts the power back on. Well I don’t think much of that manoeuvre… is Bradley trying aerobatics but can’t quite make it?? When we’re on the ground Bradley explains that they’re Practice Forced Landings (PFL’s) and all pilots learn them… oh no! It means I’ve got to do more with Debs and Dale! Victoria (firewoman!) took me on a runway inspection with her… in the fire truck (oops - Debs will get jealous!) and we found two golf balls! We also took some more pictures of me Exciting news this pm - Denny Dobson (yes, the Denny Dobson) wants me to go flying with him (my fame is sure spreading!) in his Extra 300 - oooh fast spinny plane… great, can’t wait!! Rounded off a great day by going home with the lovely Ania to get ready for our trip to Gdansk - Poland… wrap up warm says Ania, it’s cold out there!
