Le Touquet

Wow - perfect weather again and joy of joys we’re off to France for the afternoon in the Robin - whoppeee!! We had a delay at Elmsett (at Elmsett… is it an international airport now then??) - waiting for David and Aiden to get back from Tatenhill. Then when they did get back they had to replace a spark plug thingy - oooh will I ever get to fly in G-CCCN - seems like I jinx it every time Our time spent waiting wasn’t wasted - I had a photo shoot - modelling my life jacket (apparently you need to wear these when you “go foreign”) - mine was a bit big for me - but a great colour!! Also had my photo taken with G-BFRS who is leaving Elmsett and also a visiting sporty little plane - lovely! Finally made it to Le Touquet - what a great flight, could see for miles (could see France when still in England!!). Deb flew again and was OK - she must be learning something! Had a night flight on the way back - wow! That’s an amazing sight - loved it! Didn’t have much time in France - but did have dinner - priorities!! Had a great friend to look after me today - Mattie Shame he supports Arsenal!!
