Relaxing day at home today - time to have a read of the “How to Fly” books - hmmm! Well I think I’ve discovered that to fly an aeroplane needs lift, and I understand what the controls do - to dive, you push forward, to climb you pull back. To bank to the left you turn to the left, and to bank right you turn the column to the right - piece of cake this flying - sure I can do it no problem!! Still haven’t been for my flying suit measurements… I’m sure Nigel doesn’t want me to have my own suit - guess it’s because I look so much better than him! Perfect flying weather today but I didn’t get to go… seems like this thing called “work” is keeping them busy - maybe I should try it… ?! Let’s hope the weather is good for the weekend - really feel like a fly around - especially if the weather will be as good as today. Think I’ll have an early night… just in case!!
